Pizzeria Olive Gießen in Giessen

Everyone who can enjoy a stay in Giessen should definitely try the Pizzeria Olive. The portions are almost perfectly portioned, the quality is absolutely first class and everything around is simply awesome! We go to eat there again and again for all occasions and have never regretted it for a second! Definitely try it!

Very good pizza, ordered by phone before the opening and was able to pick it up 10 minutes after the opening, perfect! The pizza was very good, as was the dessert, with great pleasure again!

Totally delicious pizza here. Whether vegetarian or with meat, everything is always good. :-)

Very good pizza, the pasta dishes are also great! The service is always very courteous, nice and polite. The ambience is nice too. Still, I have to deduct a star because only cash payments are possible. I think that's an absolute no-go in a restaurant of this class these days. It's not a snack or something. I can understand that you want to save billing fees and therefore don't offer credit card payments. But at least EC card payment should be possible - also in your own interest ... Otherwise, please keep it up!

Sensational pizza! Crispy, thin dough, appetizing toppings, extremely tasty. The gluten-free variant is unsurpassed and is unparalleled even in Italy.

In the end you ask yourself: Do I want to come again or not? I wouldn't come again, the reasons: 1. Atmosphere upscale, tense, fake. 2. Food is just average. The noodles even rather weak. 3. Unreasonable prices for this average food.

In my opinion one of the best pizzerias in the area. There are other pizzas there too. You can watch the pizzas being prepared in the stone oven.

My favorite Italian in Gießen. The ambience is beautiful inside as well as outside. The food licks really well. You don't have to wait long when the house is full. There is a wide selection of dishes. "Italians only have pizza," is a quote that sweats here. In addition to pasta and other items, the dessert is also excellent. The service is friendly and you can get space even without a reservation.

Very very tasty pizza! If you don't want to eat kebab pizza, you've come to the right place. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The only thing that could disturb some is that the tables are really close together and the evening with loud or intrusive table neighbors could not end so well. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars because everything was great with us!

Great food and atmosphere.

Delicious pizzas and nice ambience. The service was friendly and attentive. We did not have to wait long for the food. Price performance is right, best pizzeria in central Hesse and completely pouring and I can only recommend to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit, see you soon.

Tiny, but still uncozy place with large pizzas and the usual for Giessen student-job service. As for the pizza - which one - they offer 25 pizzas and 20 pastas? That is already the answer - instead of 5 great pizzas, there are so many kind of OK pizzas, where the cook has perhaps his/hers 2-3 favourite ones. However, this is not an Italian pizza and it is not the best in town. And if we add the location it is not really worth the money and effort to come here. One star goes only for the students and workers who do their best in such a poorly managed place. I can imagine them all being on a mini-job.

Delicious Pizza

Stone oven pizza is nice but not unexpectedly so (after all what can really go wrong with a stone oven?), good choices of toppings (no English menu), pasta and starters. Great choice of wines (but nobody with the expertise to discuss), ok choice of desserts. Staff seems inexperienced (no you don't hand the desert fork to the customer individually) but prices are good. Overall needs a bit of polishing of customer service. Tiramisu disappointing (esp as announced as grandma's secret recipe), far too much fluffy cream...
